First Challenge Hall of Fame Inductee
Congratulations to our very first Hall of Fame inductee! It is good to see the process works, nothing is broken. Most everyone seems to have voted objectively for the person that has earned his spot. Darrell was the most deserving of the first class of inductees, though there were certainly some strong contenders. No one can take away Mark Long’s contributions as far as a competitor and trailblazer go, and he may get his day if there is another look at that. Abram received votes, but I think he is probably a little short of deserving a HOF spot. I also think Veronica has tarnished her reputation as one of the strongest female competitors the challenge had ever seen for the first 20 or so seasons with a couple of less-than-impressive returns over the last year.
We move on to the winner of the vote, someone that did the exact opposite (in a sense) of what Veronica did to her reputation.
Darrell came into the Challenge and immediately started winning. In fact, he won his first four seasons and was eliminated fairly late in his fifth after busting Brads face open. Darrell will tell you how he feels, but also has loyal friends and strong social skills, as well as being a physically superior competitor.
